What fabrics does Bèl Atelier use?
Bèl Atelier was born from a passion for beautifully crafted, high-quality fabrics. I was naturally drawn to silk and other lightweight natural fibres that felt soft, fluid, and beautiful against the body. Everything was sourced locally in Melbourne, which came with some limitations when balancing quality, colour, weight, and construction. For one piece, I chose to use a polyester lining simply because it achieved the finish and structure I was looking for.
Natural fibres will always be a core part of the Bèl Atelier brand, and something I’ll continue prioritising as the brand grows.
